Buonissimo is from Rome Italy

An 8th generation Roman with a passion for cooking, I have been a food editor for many years, during which I had the chance to meet the most celebrated Italian chefs and learn their secrets. I am fully bilingual and have been running cooking classes in Italy (Tuscany, Rome, Sabina), England (Cambridge) and Australia (Sydney). I live in Toffia, a tiny medieval hilltop village north of Rome, inside a 15th century ‘palazzetto’ with my Australian wife Sally and our daughter. Every evening, I prepare food for my wife and daughter that has come from my grandmother’s family. The secrets of these recipes have been passed down from my grandmother to my mother and now onto me. I want to share this love and passion that my family has always had for good food and wine with you, my blog reader. My wife and I run Convivio Rome Italian Cooking Holidays (http://www.conviviorome.com), a boutique cooking and gourmet tour operator based inside the medieval walls of Toffia, in the Roman countryside.
