Chorizo and Clams

Ingredients
- Palourdes clams
- Chunk of chorizo, partly diced, partly sliced
- Diced bacon
- Tin of diced tomatoes
- Shalots
- Garlic
- Cilantro
- White wine
- Lemons
- Gently fry a handful of diced bacon. The fatty kind.
- Add chopped shalots and clove of garlic. Sweat until golden.
- Add diced chorizo and fry.
- Add the tomatoes. Stir until hot. Add the sliced chorizo.
- Add the clams, douse with white wine
- Let simmer for a few minutes
- Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice
- Stir in a handful of chopped cilantro
Serve with boiled potato and some crusty bread

JaiLovesCake saysomg what a great combination. and the sauce with the crusty bread must be divine . photo is great, and in this case it wouldn't matter if it wasn't because the recipe really sounds(and looks) mouth watering.
