Ingredients

packaged japanese eel

unagi no tare (eel sauce)

sansho pepper

japanese rice

this is my favorite food! and since i dont cook much its easy version. You can make your own sauce but i find bottled unagi no tare works just fine. the only difference between unaju and unadon is that unaju is larger portion(works for me!!)

Put eel t in the oven or toaster oven for 10 minutes at 450 Degrees. cut in 2 Pour Sauce over the hot rice. Place the eel on top and sprinkle with Sansho . serve with japanese pickles.

if you cant find unagi no tare here's recipe

1/2 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup mirin 1/4 cup sugar Pour all ingredients in a pan. Stir the mixture well. Put the pan on low heat and simmer for a couple of minutes. Remove from the heat and cool .
