How to make Mash o' potato, carrot 'n thyme
Carrots vs thyme. Potatos vs butter. Epic battle.
- Peel, chop and put potatos in boiling water.
- While potatos are boiling, peel and chop carrots and put them in with the potatos. I chop them smaller than the potatos since they take longer to boil, but since I want them to be a little chunky I put them in after the potatos.
- While potatos and carrots are boiling, chop thyme.
- When potatos are done, strain the water and put the potatos and carrots in a bowl.
- Add milk and butter while mashing with your utensil of choice. I use a fork for extra chunky action.
- Mix in your chopped thyme, salt and ground white peppar.
Done! Consume with beef, fish or lamb.

Luana saysIt seems delicious but I'm vegan, so I'll use soy milk and margerine :)

Kimtaro saysSoy milk, interesting, I might try that myself :) With some nice fried tofu. And to too keep the vegetarian theme, I wouldn't mind this together with some boiled red beets!

Bremen saysI made this a few days ago and it's fantastic! Thanks for the idea! I've made mashed potatoes countless times but never thought to add carrots. The thyme also is like the perfect herb to add. Thanks again, my brother also really enjoyed it.

That looks so creamy and savory. Easy too! Me likes.
