How to make Batchelor's Pizza
Having spent the last year or so scrimping and saving as much as possible, I've had a fair amount of time to hone my mad skillz of creating yummy food with not-very-much money.
This is one of my favourites, and costs hardly nothing to do - it's usually a bit of a left-overs thing I whip up every now and then.
I bought at flatbread at the supermarket for about 60p, but I've done this before with naan and other bready-type products. Whatever you have lying around, really.
Spoon a little pasta sauce onto the bread (use sparingly) and apply your cheese. I'm a cheese fiend so I've incorporated cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan and mascarpone on this one. (Surely mascarpone is the holy and annointed cheese of the pizza realm?)
I like my toppings on the chunky side so i cut up a couple of mushrooms and tore up some ham for a nice farmhouse.
Put into the oven at 180 for about 10mins.
For my greens I used some rocket tossed in extra virgin olive oil with a little white wine vinegar.
Salt and Pepper to taste.
