Basil & Garlic Light Cream Cheese Bagel

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs Light Whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 garlic clove, minced
  • 4-5 fresh Basil leaves
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced thin
  • 1 Everything Bagel, toasted
  • Black pepper
  • garlic salt
  • dried basil for garnish

How to make Basil & Garlic Light Cream Cheese Bagel


In a small glass bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic and basil leaves together.  Stir until very well mixed and the whipped cream cheese is now smooth and creamy.
Shmear basil-garlic cheese on toasted bagel, top with a few slices of the tomato, and garnish with a little garlic salt, black pepper, and a few dried basil flakes.
Makes a great light and healthy snack for lunches!
