1 c plain flour

1 egg

about 1/2 c milk (I add by eye to get it the right consistency)

How to make Good and easy pancake batter

Sift flour into a bowl, add egg and milk and whisk (great arm workout), adding milk until it's thin, but not so thin the pancakes will break. This recipe is easily doubled, I usually make a double batch to make about 10, probably a few more.

Have the pan hot enough, but not too hot. I like my pancakes thin and I use a ladle, which gives me the exact amount I like in our stainless steel, roughly 20 cm pan. Little difference between butter and marg. I find, just make sure you tilt the pan right after adding the mix (added bonus of using a ladle).
