Cinnamon Roll

Ingredients
Dough
* 1 cup of water (80°F) * 1 egg * 1/4 cup of butter, softened * 3 1/2 cups of all purpose flour * 1 tsp salt * 1/3 cup sugar * 1 1/2 tsp quick active dry yeastFilling
* 1 cup of brown sugar * 2 tbsp of ground cinnamon- Measure all dough ingredients carefully, and mix everything together. Place the dough in a warm place for an hour or until the dough is doubled.
- Roll the dough flat and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly on the dough.
- Roll up the dough and cut it into pieces.
- Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.

azrak saysHi.It looks great: I've to try to make it asap!! :) I've one question: when you say we've to roll up and cut into pieces, approximately how big are these pieces? I mean, I suppose when you put this in the oven it will get a bit bigger with the yeast so I assume these pieces of the roll must be as thin as possible, isn't it? (about 2cm or so??) Thanks

kahwai saysI used to eat cinnamon rolls when i was in sweden too. They called it kanelbulle.

mtrinh says@ azrak: once you put the rolls in the oven it doesn't rise any further. I'd say cut them more on the order of 3 or 3.5 cm (with the experience I've had making cinnamon rolls). Hope that helps!
