Originally from Australia, I’ve lived in Japan for the last three years. I’m a self-taught cook (apart from an informative but miserable year as a kitchen-hand and chef’s bitch) and I love to try and re-create awesome meals I’ve had out before.
I also love to mix up ideas I lift from various places - Does this sauce work with this meat? Can I cook these vegetables in this style? I like this food and I like that food; what happens if I jam them together?
