Ingredients
- 500 g flat green beans
- 1 onion
- 500 g potatoes
- 1/2 cup of sour cream or Crème fraîche
- 4 strips of smoked bacon
- 1 liter vegetable stock or water stock cube
- salt and pepper
- parsley
- olive oil

How to make Creamy Bean Stew
I would call this Schnippelbohneneintopf which may just seem too long a name for a really simple stew.
- chop up the onion and the bacon
- peel and quarter the potatoes
- pour some olive oil into a pot and heat it up
- add the onion and bacon and sizzle for some minutes
- now add the potatoes and the stock and cook until the potatoes are half done
- in the meantime wash the beans and cut them up in about 2 to 3 cm pieces
- add the beans to the potatoes and stock
- boil for another 10 minutes
- add the sour cream and some parley
- season if necessary with some more salt and pepper
