  • 3 lemons
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 teaspoons sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
  • 4 tablespoons sugar

How to make Fresh Sparkly Lemonade


This is really quickly made, the sodium bicarbonate is added to get carbon dioxide as a chemical reaction occurs with the acidity of the lemon juice. You can obviously do without it being sparkly and omit the baking soda.

  1. squeeze the lemons
  2. add the water
  3. add the sugar and sodium bicarbonate
  4. stir
  5. serve chilled

    use it sparingly or omit it altogether if the slightly salty taste puts you off :)

    hola ¿el bicarbonato es para que el limón no dañe el estómago? en verano tomo litros y litros de limonada casera, y a veces el estómago se resiente un poco.

    tiene los dos efectos, la neutralisación del acido y la adición de gas a la limonada.
