How to make Tuna Noodle Casserole
My mother taught me this great recipe. I've since made a couple improvements. It's extremely delicious and is enough food for 3 boys for at least 2 days. You may want to try replacing half the noodles with 1/2 box of spaghetti once you've mastered this version.
- Empty the two cans of tuna into a large bowl.
- Mash up the tuna thoroughly.
- Add the cream of celery soup, goat cheese, half of the crushed potato chips, & diced celery.
- Mix well while adding all the spices and squeezing the half lemon into the mix.
- Boil enough water in the large pot for all the noodles.
- Boil the noodles till they're slightly tender, but not too soft. They're best if there is still a little stiffness in them.
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Mix the noodles and the contents of the large bowl together evenly in a casserole dish.
- Sprinkle the rest of the potato chips, and all the shredded cheese on top.
- Cook for at least 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Enjoy!
