cinnamon and peanut butter on toast

Ingredients

• 2 tbs peanut butter (my favorite are creamy Skippy and crunchy Peter Pan)
• 1 slice whole grain bread
• ground cinnamon

I love cinnamon and use it on just about anything: yogurt, ice cream, cereal, and sometimes I'll use it when I'm brewing coffee. Today, I decided to try it on my mid-morning snack of peanut butter on toast and it was really good!

1. Toast your bread and let it cool slightly.
2. Spread the peanut butter while the bread is still warm.
3. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.

Very easy, spicy goodness!

  There's nothing like a peanut butter craving. When it hits you and there's none in sight, you're DOOMED. A teammate of mine used to eat honey and peanut butter sandwiches in the car on the way home from a regatta. Really sweet and yummy.

  I love peanut butter too, however I tend more towards savoury than sweet with it. I like to have it on toasted brown bread too, but with a couple of slices of avocado and perhaps a few drops of a nice hot habanero sauce. The idea of cinammon on top intigues me though :)

  Oh man, how nice is this!? I've just tried the peanut butter & Cinnamon and it's really nice! Also; Vivren, i tried that peanut butter & honey. Yum :)
