Chocolate Pudding Brownies

Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. Butter or Margarine
  • 2/3 c. Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/4 c. Milk
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 c. Unbleached flour
  • 1 Package of Pudding Mix (regular, 4 oz.)
  • 1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 Chopped Nuts (optional)
  • Some Powdered Sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. In seperate bowl, combine flour, pudding mix, baking posder, and salt. Add to cream mixture and mix well. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 9 x 9 in. baking pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cover with powdered sugar as liked.

    slightly confused - is the pudding chocolate pudding, or is there meant to be an additional source of chocolate in the recipe?

    hmmm. i don't see any chocolate anywhere at all in the recipe. so where does it come in??
