Ingredients

250gm chocolate and nuts cookies-crushed finely
20gm butter, melted

2 cups fresh milk
1 tsp vanilla
45gm cornflour
2 drops of yellow colour
1/2 cup sugar
10gm butter
1 yolk

How to make Custard flan


1. For the base, mix the butter with cookies and press firmly in a greased dish or flan pan. chill for an hour.
2. In a bowl , add sugar, vanilla ,cornflour , yellow colour and 100ml milk. Stir well to mix.
3. Bring the remain milk to a boil. Add cornflour mixture and stir till thicken. Add butter and stir to melt.
4. Remove from heat and add yolk. stir well.
5. Pour into the cookies base. Cover with a cling wrap exactly on top of custard not letting any vapour . Chill till firm before cutting.

NOTE:
covering the custard with cling wrap so it will not form a skin on top.
