Ingredients
A:3/4 cup shallots
1 tsp belacan
2 cloves garlic
10 red chillies
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp fennel
2 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 inch turmeric root
1/2 tsp black pepper, grounded
2 star anise, pounded finely
1/4 cup oil
500gm beef, thinly sliced
B:
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
salt to taste
1 cup hot water

How to make Ketchup beef stir fry
1. Blend ingredient A finely. Fry A in heated oil till aroma.
2. Add beef and stir till beef change colour. Add ingredient B and continue to cook till the sauce began to thicken.
