Herbal Prawn Soup

Ingredients
- 4 small pcs of chun kung (川公?)
- 5 pcs of huai shan (淮山), soaked overnight
- 8 pcs of dang shen (当参)
- 1 tbsp of gou qizi (枸杞子)
- 5 red dates (红枣)
- 400g FRESH prawns, cleaned but keep shells intact
- 300g chicken
- 1L hot water
- salt to taste
Love prawn? Love herbal soup? Remember to use fresh prawn or live prawn even better.
Prepare stock by simmering herbs and chicken for 2.5 to 3 hours. Remove chicken.
Add prawns into herbal stock and bring to a quick rapid boil until prawns are cooked.
Add salt to taste and serve hot.
