WTF pie crust (wu's tender and flaky)
Fuji apple, lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter
Macerating and cooking the apples a bit before loading into the crust develops a sexy gungy caramel-like syrup, which binds the filling into a toothsome mass. It also makes a packed pie that doesn't deflate upon baking. Boys love this pie.
